I think the new format of the WW is great – I prefer the smaller pages and the livelier feel to all the articles. Well done Iain and team, and thank you.
I also think the WW is a positive unifying paper, there may have been times when the two ends of the village were divided but we’ve moved on from that and need to all work together to make our community a vibrant, varied one which is a pleasure to live in for everyone here.

Hi my Gran and Gramp was born in the baptist Chapel, in Woodchester. Is there any Photos of the Chapel.
They Married in 1932, she was a Browning, in which there seems a lot once there. Any Pics available would be lovely

A Village Design Statement sets out clear and simple guidance for the design of all development in a village, based on its character. It is an advisory document produced by the village community, not by the planning authority. It will not stop change from happening, but it can help effect how any new building fits in to the village. So it really important that residents of the village do respond to the questionnaires which will be sent out with the next edition of the Woodchester Word in March.
