Parish Clerk Vacancy

Woodchester Parish Council require a Clerk to work with them, organising meetings, liaising with Stroud District Council and the Parish Councilors and running the finances.
With support from the Parish Councilors, you would need to have or be willing to develop the skills required for the job, but it ideally suits someone with good communication and IT skills.
The post is available from the 24th November.
Salary is subject to qualifications and experience and will be increased with recognised Clerk qualifications e.g. CiLCA – the Certificate in Local Council Administration.

Please come along and find out about your community groups, parish council, churches and schools. Hear what’s been done in the past year and exciting plans for 2010 and beyond. There will be refreshments including wine, local beer and lovely homemade nibbles.
