Traditional Orchard Wassail – Sunday, January 15th at 4pm

Music, song and a little drama, followed by a glass of mulled cider at the Ram Inn. Meet at the lower Ram car park. All welcome.

Village Carols – Tuesday 20th December 2012

The village carols will take place on Tuesday 20th December. A mummers play will be performed at The Ram at 6.30 and Nailsworth Silver Band will play carols at The Royal Oak at 6.45.

Both groups will then walk to the village green for carol singing accompanied by the band at 7.15, where mulled wine and mince pies will be served. All are welcome!

Parish Clerk Vacancy

Would you like to work 8-10 hours a week mainly from home?

Woodchester Parish Council require a Clerk to work with them, organising meetings, liaising with Stroud District Council and the Parish Councilors and running the finances.

With support from the Parish Councilors, you would need to have or be willing to develop the skills required for the job, but it ideally suits someone with good communication and IT skills.

The post is available from the 24th November.

Salary is subject to qualifications and experience and will be increased with recognised Clerk qualifications e.g. CiLCA – the Certificate in Local Council Administration.
